Internal RecruiterRemote (1 day per week in Birmingham)3 month Temporary ContractAn exciting opportunity has arisen for an internal recruiter at with a well-respected aviation engineering business based in Birmingham. There is a requirement to work on site 1 day per week, but the other 4 days can be worked remotely. This role is in place to support the business through a very busy period of the year due to a need to increased recruitment activity. The temporary contract is expected to be in place until the end of the year.This role is well suited for an experienced internal recruiter looking for a short-term contract role.Role Details:

  • Full Time Hours (Monday to Friday)
  • Competitive hourly rate
  • Largely remote role (4 days per week)

Job Purpose:To manage and run an effective internal recruitment process. The Internal Recruiter will provide support in the sourcing and management of candidates to fulfil internal requirements across the business.Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Screening candidates to qualify their relevance for the requirement.
  • Present and discuss potential applicant’s with the hiring managers to support their shortlisting process.
  • Building trust and confidence with internal hiring managers, working collaboratively with them to help achieve their hiring goals
  • Ensure relationships and retention of candidates are kept to a high standard whilst effectively managing their expectations
  • Obtain accurate job descriptions, person specifications and other information required to ensure accurate recruitment.
  • Ensure all candidates have the correct eligibility to work
  • Provide candidates a positive recruitment experience
  • Advise candidates a detailed overview of the business
  • To build a solid candidate pipeline for chosen roles
  • Advertise vacancies on the appropriate websites
  • Keep all records accurate and current on the recruitment database
  • Conduct video/face-to-face interviews with candidates where required
  • Help with candidate queries that are raised
  • Ensure company compliancy is enforced
  • To provide support to team members and other parts of the company as required
  • Adhere to company policies, systems, procedures and codes of practice to which the company subscribes

The successful candidate will have the following skills and experience:Essential

  • Proven experience working as an internal recruiter (all industry sectors considered)
  • Strong administration and organisational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Being able to work to tight deadlines
  • Ability to work on own initiative and to organise and prioritise own work
  • Attention to detail is essential
  • Professional telephone manner
  • Flexibility within the role
  • Experience in a client/customer environment providing exceptional customer service
  • Ability to convey information accurately, clearly and in a manner easily understood
  • Experience of using Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Word, Excel and database systems

Desirable:

  • Aviation or Engineering recruitment background (advantageous but not essential)
