OverviewAs a Pensions Associate (Operations), you’ll be a highly organized and detail-oriented individual responsible for reviewing and logging casework in a timely manner, ensuring that the information received is complete prior to passing over to the administration team for processing.You’ll be allocated cases to complete which will include data amendments and general correspondence. You’ll work closely with the administration team to ensure casework is dealt with accurately and promptly.You’ll approach each case with the same dedication and vigilance, providing the highest level of service to each scheme member.
How you’ll make an impact

  • Carrying out administration tasks in a timely manner and in accordance with internal processes and adhering to company policies and governing regulations
  • Managing your workload, taking into consideration time required for all cases to be peer reviewed
  • Liaising with scheme members through a variety of channels including email, letter or telephone
  • Preparing member correspondence and inputting data into client reports
  • Collaborating with team members and building relationships with supporting teams
  • Providing support to team members and assisting the Team Leader as the need arises
  • Engaging and being transparent with team members and the Team Leader throughout the day
  • Assisting the administration team where necessary

About You

  • Prior experience in administration would be advantageous, particularly in a pensions or financial services setting
  • Ability to process, collect, and input data accurately and efficiently
  • Strong prioritization skills to effectively manage workload and meet deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills to confidently and expertly handle queries from scheme members via phone, email, and letter
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team, collaborating with colleagues and building positive relationships
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced skills in Excel and Word
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, with a keen eye for accuracy and precision
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Strong customer service skills, with a dedication to providing excellent service to scheme members
  • Ability to adapt to changing priorities and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong analytical and numerical skills, with the ability to analyze and interpret data
  • Quick learner, with the ability to quickly grasp new systems and processes
  • Professional and positive attitude, with a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to work well in a team environment, actively contributing to team goals and supporting colleagues
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy, ensuring all tasks are completed to a high standard
