Join us to build the digital economy of tomorrow.Job DescriptionThe roleAt Checkout.com we are scaling our Commercial organisation, and we are looking for a talented Analyst to help manage and improve the way we calculate and communicate variable commission paid to employees. As a member of the Sales Operations team, this role will report to the Senior Manager in Incentive Design, working closely with Finance, Commercial, and People teams.How you’ll make an impact

  • Support the end to end process for calculating compensation and bonus payouts and validation.
  • Develop and update the process as new requirements arise.
  • Support on the design of compensation plans to align with company strategy
  • Use Data analytics to draw insights into sales performance
  • Audit and validate the compensation payouts at the end of each calendar quarter.
  • Provide accurate and detailed information to the payroll team, act as a conduit between payroll and commercial team members to resolve any errors or issues that may arise.
  • Work closely with employees to reconcile statements, resolve queries and disputes, and ensure errors or amendments are resolved and explained clearly.
  • Maintain our database to ensure accuracy on comp data points: validate existing data across multiple sources, mass-update records, troubleshoot and resolve errors.
  • Validate revenue data received by the finance team and work with this team to solve and understand errors or discrepancies.
  • Manage the process for ensuring new employees are correctly onboarded with their compensation plans including attending training.

QualificationsWhat we’re looking for

  • Strong Excel and/or GoogleSheets skills, including an ability to produce clear reports.
  • Experience in data analytics preferred.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstration of absolute discretion around sensitive and confidential information is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills with effective prioritisation.
  • Hands-on, always ready to roll up your sleeves and go the extra mile for the team.
  • Process-driven, always looking for ways to optimize existing workflows in a scalable fashion.
  • Numerical degree, e.g. Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Finance, or Accounting is preferred.
