You will focus on the skill and growth of the team, modelling and instilling an attitude and perspective that is aligned with AVEVA. You will be the primary resource for process and work content questions. You will help the team focus and execute against their goals in daily and weekly context by employing standard processes. You will keep the energy and standards high. Your decisions will impact your immediate team and the product. You will be responsible for planning and execution of deliverables. You will coordinate with other global teams in the AIM program and also with other teams in AVEVA whenever needed.Key responsibilities

  • Ensure smooth execution on committed deliverables of your team. This may require coordination with team leads from multiple teams and stakeholders from different functions like product management
  • Engage with each team member regularly on a one on one basis, coach them towards their career aspirations and provide them opportunities and challenges aligned with their interest
  • Periodically assess staffing needs, appropriate job levels and lead recruitment
  • Set team performance, skill growth goals and organizational goals

  • You have demonstrated leadership, not necessarily as a manager, in accomplishing a collective goal while making a lasting positive impact on others in the team
  • You have made significant contributions in all phases of software life cycle from inception to delivery multiple times

The team you’ll joinAs a R&D manager you will become part of a global Asset Information Management team (AIM). AIM team operates out of India (Hyderabad and Bangalore) and UK (Cambridge and Derry).We are 66 colleagues in AIM, we have eight member scrum teams and every team takes care of programs and deliverables assigned to them as per priority. AIM has a presence in AWS cloud and on-prem, in cloud AIM does have different flavours of solutions like AIM-h, AIM-A etc. AIM is an integral part of digital twin story as it aggregates engineering data and can connect to operational world. We are also working a s a team to publish data to connect data services as per next gen strategy.
