It services both ITV Media & Entertainment and ITV Studios Global Partnerships divisions as well as some external customers. This involves everything from QC, file verification, storage, editing, reversioning and delivering content to various different stakeholders across ITV.ITV’s new CSP (Content Services Platform) is being developed on the SDVI Rally Platform and is currently being implemented within Content Delivery – a significant change programme. This platform will ultimately transform the foundational workflows of content coming into ITV; the processing; and onward delivery of that content.The roleThis role is responsible for managing day to day operations within Content Delivery while ensuring the smooth implementation and transition to Rally – ensuring the Content Delivery team are processing content to standards and timeframes required to service the various distribution points of ITV. Ensuring processes are as efficient and agile as possible to adapt to the business needs is key in this role.Responsible for 5 direct reports.Skills you’ll need (minimum criteria)
- Outstanding communication skills
- Demonstrably able to use initiative and make things happen
- Ability to manage and implement change
- Ability to suggest new processes and system functionality to improve efficiency and accuracy
- Good Technical knowledge and understanding
- High pressured and fast turnaround environment at times
- Ability to maintain excellent working relations both internal and external
- Calm, decisive and able to work well under pressure
Other things we’re looking for (key criteria)
- Previous experience with, and strong understanding of Broadcast & Operations
- Proven ability in effective managing and coaching of a team
- Demonstrable experience in successful communication both at senior level and with teams on the ground
- Prior experience in budgeting and cost management
- Successful experience in effective management of critical service providers
