Join us to build the digital economy of tomorrow.Job DescriptionThe roleJoining the strategic marketing team at Checkout.com, the Marketing Analytics Specialist role is instrumental in leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and enhance marketing effectiveness. As a Marketing Analytics Specialist, you’ll report to the Director of Marketing Operations and collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to harness data-driven insights. Your team operates as the nerve centre for shaping our marketing strategies. Your primary responsibility involves analysing vast datasets to extract actionable insights. Your insights help us better understand performance as well as enable us to formulate and optimise marketing campaigns. Your role crucially supports Checkout.com in achieving sustainable business growth.How you’ll make an impactAnalyse and interpret marketing data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for strategic marketing initiatives.Work closely with Marketing teams to drive data-driven decision-making, by presenting insights and recommendations to support marketing strategies and investment allocation.Develop and maintain dashboards, and reports that provide actionable insights for marketing campaigns and initiatives.Collaborate with stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and establish frameworks for measuring and optimising marketing efforts.Proactively identify areas for improvement in data collection, analysis, and reporting processes to enhance performance, in collaboration with Checkout’s Data Analytics team.Support the team by providing ad-hoc analysis and insights to address immediate business needs and opportunities.QualificationsWhat we’re looking forExperience in data analyticsKnowledge of ETL processes, associated tools, databases and BI platforms, including knowledge of SQLExperience working with Looker Models and creation of Explores, Views and DashboardsStrong Excel and/or GoogleSheets skills, including an ability to produce clear reports and analysisAbility to translate data into insight and articulate business implicationsExcellent communication skills and an ability to work with multiple stakeholders.Attention to detail with the ability to prioritise effectively in a fast-paced environmentPreferable knowledge of the marketing data domain or comparable commercial functionAdditional InformationApply without meeting all requirements statementIf you don’t meet all the requirements but think you might still be right for the role, please apply anyway.
