Join us as we build a knowledgeable and collaborative team that courageously changes how transit projects will be delivered.Our Resource Strategy and Optimization team is looking for two (2) Manager, Integrated Workforce Planning to join the team. You will develop, implement, and manage (CPG) integrated and long-term workforce planning plans for your assigned portfolio. This role will develop effective organization structures, in partnership with HR, ensuring effective teams to deliver project mandates in line with the target operating model, good organization design principles and corporate guidelines.What will I be doing?

  • Work with cross-functional teams to assess business needs, analyze structures and processes, and use data to find opportunities and develop recommendations for improvement.
  • Review, assess, and provide guidance and consultation to all proposed and revised CPG organization structures, make recommendations on proposed structures and roles based on assessment for consistency against target operating model and guidelines.
  • Develop and execute workforce planning strategies to align staffing levels, including Metrolinx, Delivery Partners, and Consultants with business demand, considering factors such as cost, project schedules, contracting models, and the project lifecycles.
  • Create, develop, and implement metrics, dashboards, reports, and data forecasting models in collaboration with the HR and CPG analytics team to track current and future profiles of the workforce and appropriately manage the practice.
  • Foster a culture of data-driven decision-making, leveraging HR analytics to inform talent acquisition strategies and resource allocation, including redeployment of project resources.
  • Oversee the use and optimization of workforce management software and tools to support forecasting, scheduling, and real-time monitoring.

What Skills and Qualifications Do I Need?

  • Completion of a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration/Management, Organizational Management, or a combination of education, training and experience deemed equivalent.
  • Demonstrated experience partnering with business leaders, understanding business needs, HR Analytics and Workforce Planning background and implementing HR practices and solutions across the organization; senior level experience managing operational performance and HR analytics, past budgeting experience. Experience in infrastructure industry an asset.
  • Experience with data analytics, Microsoft BI and visualization tools.
  • Ability to gather and use data to inform decision-making and persuade others by managing basic reporting needs while also building a foundation to automate and deliver self-service tools and dashboards to allow for more sophisticated analyses.
  • Demonstrated acumen with metrics and/or KPI development, tracking and evaluation.
  • Demonstrated project management skills for large-scale projects and initiatives.
  • Knowledge of programs, organization, culture, and HR management issues, to identify and analyze human resources processes and requirements and to provide advice, develop transformation strategies and operating models to meet business needs.
  • Knowledge of change management theories, methodologies, best practices, tools and techniques Experience and knowledge of process improvement principles and methodologies (i.e., LEAN)
  • Ability to leverage interpersonal skills to establish effective relationships with a broad variety of stakeholders and partners.
  • Knowledge of project management principles and practices, including a full understanding of Project Controls, to lead and direct teams and consultants engaged in simultaneous projects (e.g. development, project progress, related staff and project resources) and monitor project activities for adherence to timelines, budgets and project performance objectives.
  • A valid G driver’s license in good standing. A Driver’s Abstract (within the last 3 Years) will be required of the successful candidate. The employee(s) in this role will have access to a company vehicle (Non-Revenue Fleet Vehicle).
