Hours: 8am-5pm

Pay: $16 DOE

Job Requirements/Skills

  • Be proficient in processing all payment options accurately, all loan services and loan documentation, system maintenance, issuance of checks, ability to download upgrades/enhancements/corrections.

  • Possess the ability to perform administrative functions as needed.

  • Be proficient on a ten key calculator and be thoroughly computer literate.

  • Understand and effectively carry out assigned duties with limited supervision.

  • Have the ability to constructively and objectively handle stressful situations and individuals.

  • Possess excellent communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills.

  • Demonstrate organizational skills that ensure all functions are completed in a timely manner and that all report deadlines are met.

Business Development

  • Solicit current customer base through counter, telephone, and mail solicitations.

  • Develop new business through customer recommendations, competitor referrals, and the solicitation of former borrowers.

Delinquency Control

  • Work delinquent accounts as directed.

  • Collect past due accounts through written notices and phone calls as directed.

Lending Functions

  • Takes and investigates loan applications.

  • Prepares loan documents for closing.

  • Breaks down loan files.

  • Files loan files.

Administrative Functions

  • Have overall responsibility of the cash drawer and perform the majority of cash drawer functions.

  • Process counter payments.

  • Process, record, and make daily deposits.

  • Post mail payments.

  • Process deferments.

  • Process adjustment of terms.

  • Mail turndown notices.

  • Process paid-out loan papers.

  • Process due date changes.

  • File folders, notices, etc.

  • Mail letters.

  • Perform the daily backup on the operating system.

Pay Details: $16.00 to $18.00 per hour
