We operate in 9+ geographies across the UK, EU and the US.We believe that the future of financial services will be delivered by customer-oriented tech companies that embed financing in their customer journeys, and we are building the solutions that will power that future.The RoleWe are seeking a Loan Closing Officer who will help review applications that could be potential non-payers, and therefore reduce loss to YouLend. Working closely with credit risk, you will perform checks on applications prior to funding. This is to ensure accuracy and compliance with internal policies.Responsibilities:

  • Review bank statements.
  • Checking the IP address of the DocuSign.
  • Check that no material changes have been made to the application post underwriting.
  • Identity Verification.
  • Identifying gaps in the process and sharing knowledge.
  • Assisting in projects such as reviewing defaulted deals.
  • Coordinate with internal teams, including Underwriting, KYC analysts, and Sales, to gather any missing or additional required documentation.
  • Collaborate with other team members to streamline and improve loan closing processes and procedures.
  • Complete Fraud investigations.
  • Identification of missed internal or external entities
  • Review deals for UK, Spain and Poland

Requirements

  • Previous fraud investigation experience.
  • Be a strong communicator.
  • Have excellent analytical skills.
  • Attention to detail and methodical.
  • Ability to think outside the box.
  • The team is evolving so you must be agile and adapt quickly to change.
  • Available to work Saturdays (1 in 6)
