DescriptionAppleOne is hiring CWB Welders in Hamilton/Ancaster!
Pay: $26.00/hour
Shifts:
- Days: Mon-Thurs 6am-3pm, Fri 6am-12pm
- Afternoons: Mon-Thurs 3pm-12am, Fri 12pm-6pm
Responsibilities:
- Perform fit-up and tacking on structural assemblies.
- Interpret weld symbols and follow procedures.
- Add stiffeners and brackets per shop orders.
- Execute GMAW operations on various materials.
- Set welding machine for optimal performance.
- Use cutting torch and maintain equipment.
- Clean work area and perform tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Physically demanding role; lifting up to 50 lbs.
- All other PPE provided.
- Basic math skills for measurements.
- CWB certification in GMAW preferred; experience required.
- Steel industry experience is a plus.
- Safety-oriented, team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
Expected salary
$26 per hour
