Executive Assistant to the Founder – Renewable Energy Business | Salary: Up to £35,000An exciting opportunity has arisen for a dynamic Executive Assistant to support the Founder of a fast-growing renewable energy business, backed by significant international private equity funding. With a mission to revolutionise the renewable energy sector, this role is crucial as the business prepares for substantial expansion.You will play a key role in enabling the Founder and Senior Management team to focus on strategic objectives, ensuring seamless operations as the team grows from 4 to 24 members within the next 6 months.Responsibilities:

  • Efficiently manage the Founder’s calendar and schedule, ensuring optimal use of their time.
  • Handle correspondence, prioritising communication, and act as a primary point of contact for the business.
  • Schedule and coordinate meetings, both internal and external, ensuring all logistical details are meticulously managed.
  • Attend and take minutes at meetings, following up on action items.
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and itineraries, including logistics for international travel.
  • Take ownership of administrative tasks, demonstrating a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Assist in various office management activities, contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations.
  • Collaborate and provide support on ongoing projects, ensuring alignment with the Founder’s strategic vision.
  • Play a key role in the upcoming office move, including research and potential involvement in the selection and setup of the new office space.
  • Manage quarterly events for staff, acting as an ambassador for a social and supportive company culture.
  • Support in hiring processes, particularly scheduling and processing candidates.

Person Specification:

  • Positive, driven, and enthusiastic attitude with a passion for contributing to a growing organisation.
  • Proven experience in supporting Founders or C-level executives; previous experience as an Executive Assistant is desirable.
  • Strong organisational and multitasking abilities with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage tasks independently.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Tech-savvy and quick to learn new tools and processes.

The office is expected to be in the London Bridge/Southwark area by the beginning of March.
