Who are we looking for?
- You will need to have 5+ years of experience acting as a lead architect
- You must have extensive experience with clouds technologies and be very process orientated
- 2 years+ line management experience (ideally experienced in managing a team not just an individual)
- Bachelors’/Masters degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering or related degree
- Good understanding of programming languages (Python/Java/React) and infrastructure technologies (Azure/AWS/Terraform
- A “hands-on” background in Development
- Start-up experience and building from scratch would be ideal
Job role of the Architect Lead:
- Responsible for documenting the technical and data architecture of the “as-is” and “to-be” solutions.
- Line management/hiring/development of Solutions Architect(s) and administrative support.
- Responsible for ensuring that solutions proposed by a project meet the strategic objectives of the product or service.
- Documenting the non-functional requirements across the different solutions.
- Accountable for ensuring the correct technical solutions and products are chosen.
- Accountable for ensuring chosen solutions meet the business, functional and non-functional requirements.
- Ensuring the technical transition approach meets the business requirements.
- Responsible for documenting the technology landscape, interfaces and data flow.
- Supporting solution ownership within the operating model of LCCC.
- Ensuring that any project delivery meets the architecture strategy and policies.
- Responsible for developing and maintaining a clear roadmap for adopting new features.
- Responsible for managing the technical risks across any project, product or service.
- Responsible for ensuring that the strategies and architecture policies are followed.
