Description We are offering a long term contract employment opportunity for a Payroll Specialist based in MUNCIE, Indiana. The role involves implementation and testing of Workday System as well as routine payroll processing for a large number of employees.

Responsibilities:

• Implement and build the Workday System for efficient payroll processing

• Conduct rigorous testing of the Workday System to ensure accuracy and efficiency

• Manage the day-to-day payroll processing activities

• Provide assistance in payroll processing for a significant number of employees

• Utilize skills such as Workday, Workday Payroll, and System Implementation for effective job performance

• Maintain detailed records of payroll processing activities

• Resolve any issues or discrepancies in the payroll process

• Monitor the payroll system regularly and make necessary adjustments

• Collaborate with the team to ensure a smooth payroll process

• Oversee and manage customer accounts, taking appropriate action when necessary. Requirements • Proficient in Workday and Workday Payroll software.

• Experience in payroll management for large organizations with over 500 employees.

• Proven track record in successful system implementation.

• Strong understanding of payroll tax laws and regulations.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion.

• High level of integrity and dependability with a strong sense of urgency and results-orientation.

• Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Advanced skills in MS Office, particularly Excel.

• Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team.

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
