Temporary Recruitment Support Officer

  • Duration: Temporary 8 weeks
  • Pay: £16.48 per hour plus £1.99 per hour holiday pay (Equivalent to annual salary of £30,000 FTE)
  • Hours: Full-time, 35 hours per week, 9am-5pm
  • Location: Hybrid, 1-2 days per week in the office (Euston, London)
  • Fluent French & English proficiency required

Charity People are partnering with a global health organisation which tackles some of the world’s most pressing health challenges. They partner with leaders and changemakers worldwide to bring health strategies to life, focusing on creating sustainable health solutions for communities, especially women, girls, and marginalised groups.As the Temporary Recruitment Support Officer, you will support the Recruitment Business Partner to streamline recruitment for one of the programmes. This role involves managing the recruitment lifecycle, from posting job ads to coordinating interviews and assisting with onboarding. You will work closely with the HR and Recruitment teams to secure high-quality candidates who align with the project’s goals.Key ResponsibilitiesRecruitment Support

  • Draft and post job advertisements on job boards and company platforms.
  • Screen applications, shortlist qualified candidates, and coordinate interviews with hiring managers.
  • Schedule candidate assessments and administer tests as needed.

Candidate Communication

  • Serve as the primary contact for candidates throughout the recruitment process.
  • Keep candidates informed on application status and interview results.

Headhunting

  • Proactively source candidates on LinkedIn and recruitment databases.
  • Engage passive candidates using headhunting strategies.

Reference Checks and Screening

  • Coordinate background and reference checks and keep candidates updated.

Onboarding Support

  • Prepare new hire documentation and facilitate onboarding sessions.
  • Work with IT, payroll, and other departments to ensure new hires have necessary resources.

Data Management and Reporting

  • Maintain recruitment data in the applicant tracking system (ATS).
  • Provide updates and reports on recruitment progress to the WISH 2 team.

Administrative Support

  • Provide general administrative assistance to the programme’s team as needed.

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Proficiency in both French and English.
  • Strong organisational skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with online job boards.
  • Prior experience in recruitment or HR support roles is preferred.
  • Familiarity with ATS or recruitment databases is a plus.
