The value add is to enable agencies to manage their work end to end within our innovate platform.This is a greenfield program of work to replace their existing workflow system with bespoke .Net development using a microservice architecture in Azure and Kubernetes.What you’ll be doing:We are seeking a Principal Front-End Engineer to lead our front-end development efforts, driving the architecture and implementation of high-quality web applications. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, mentor junior engineers, and advocate for best practices in front-end development.This role will report into the Senior Director of Development.

  • Technical Leadership
  • Design and implement scalable and maintainable front-end architecture. Set technical standards and ensure best practices in code quality and performance.
  • Mentorship
  • Guide and mentor junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and collaboration.
  • Collaboration
  • Work closely with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and product managers to deliver exceptional user experiences.
  • Innovation
  • Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, evaluating and integrating new tools and frameworks as needed.
  • Code Reviews
  • Conduct accurate code reviews, providing constructive feedback to enhance code quality and team capabilities.
  • Performance Optimization
  • Identify and resolve performance bottlenecks, ensuring applications are fast and quick to react.
  • Documentation
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of code, architecture, and processes to support team growth and onboarding

What you’ll need:

  • 10+ years of front-end development experience, with a strong portfolio of web applications.
  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue).
  • Strong understanding of front-end architecture, state management, and design patterns.
  • Experience with responsive design principles and frameworks (e.g., Bootstrap, Tailwind).
  • Knowledge of web performance optimization techniques and tools.
  • Familiarity with version control (Git), CI/CD pipelines, and modern development workflows.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
