What You Will Do

  • To establish a standardized system (referred to as the Quality Tower) that will help the team to track and trend scrap by plant, process, line, shift, SKU.
  • Develop Process Capability and Productivity Dashboards that will show among others top pareto of defects by area, by plant and total by region in quantity, $/EQU, $.
  • Cross functionally interacts among various Clarios functions (IT, Finance, Engineering), across various facilities and corporate.

How You Will Do It

  • Interact with quality and finance teams in plant and corporate to understand how scrap and defects are recorded and reported in our 16 US plants
  • Data integration from different sources, such as SQL databases, Excel, Access, Sharepoint, and QAD.
  • Work with IT to get corresponding access to data sources
  • Pull the relevant data to PowerBI
  • Verify the data being pulled is accurate.
  • Create and validate PowerBI dashboards with plant and corporate quality

What We Look For

  • Currently enrolled as a full-time student at an accredited U.S. college or university.
  • Pursuing an undergraduate in Computer Engineering, Statistics, Business Analytics, Data Science, or relevant study.
  • U.S. citizen or legal right to work in the U.S.
  • Prior internship experience with Business Analytics strongly preferred.
  • Microsoft Excel, PowerBI, SQL, Python, R and/or Tableau skills preferred.
  • Duration: Summer 2025. Up to 40 hours per week. Part-time during the school year may be available.
  • Ability to be in the greater Milwaukee area in the summer.
  • Working Arrangements: Hybrid internship – must have a quiet workspace away from interruptions if working remotely. Be able to maintain regular contact with the supervisor/team via virtual methods.
