We’re passionate about changing this with our awesome mobile App and Web-based tools that make delivering care far, far easier for hard-working carers.The roleWe are looking for a passionate and user-centric Senior Product Designer to join our ambitious team. Reporting to Adam our CTO, you’ll help us design and deliver innovative solutions that will improve our user experience and support our mission of transforming the care industry.ResponsibilitiesLead the End-to-End Design Process

  • Own and drive the design process from start to finish, participating in research, ideation, iteration, testing, and refinement.
  • Build and test prototypes to validate your assumptions, always aiming to deliver delightful and impactful user experiences.
  • Lead user research efforts, gathering insights to inform design decisions and driving continuous improvement based on real user feedback.

Collaborate Cross-Functionally

  • Work closely with engineers and Product Managers to bring new features to life and ensure they are seamlessly integrated into our products.
  • Partner with Product Managers to define problem statements and user needs, shaping our overall product strategy with a strong user focus.
  • Engage with stakeholders across the organisation, understanding their goals and concerns to align design efforts with business objectives.

Shape Design Excellence

  • Take a leadership role in defining and guiding design standards and processes, setting the bar for design excellence.
  • Contribute to and evolve our visual language and design system, ensuring a consistent and branded experience across all products.
  • Line manage and mentor two designers, supporting their growth, encouraging collaboration, and ensuring high-quality design output.

Your experienceWe’d love to hear from you if:

  • You’re an experienced end-to-end Product Designer with a proven track record in SaaS and product-led start-up or scale-up environments.
  • You excel in conducting user research and drawing insights that drive impactful design decisions and meaningful improvements.
  • You are skilled at solving complex, ambiguous problems and delivering effective design solutions independently.
  • You can articulate and justify design decisions clearly and concisely, ensuring alignment and understanding across the team.
  • You know how to balance striving for design excellence with the need to deliver projects on time, making thoughtful compromises when necessary.
  • You thrive in cross-functional teams and are adept at building strong working relationships with engineers, PMs, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience in mentoring or line management is a plus, especially if you’re passionate about growing and nurturing design talent.
  • You enjoy working in a fast-paced, start-up environment where your design skills can impact many areas of the business.
  • You’re driven to create products that make a real difference in the care industry and are motivated by the challenges and opportunities this sector brings.

The Interview process

  • Interview with Anna our Product Manager & Jack our Product Designer via Zoom (1 hour)
  • In-person task with Adam our CTO & Hiring Manager + Becca & Senior Product Manager + Tech Lead (1.5 hours)
  • Final interview with Sam (Co-founder & CEO) to discuss what you might bring to the role and how you might embody our values at LmC (20 minutes)
