As part of the team, you will design and deliver solutions for a variety of projects related to our mobile banking platform. You will have experience in developing native Android solutions and proven experience leading others.Essential Tasks – In this job, you will:
- Develop Android applications in collaboration with other mobile developers
- Support TD mobile build process through continuous integration and source control system
- Participate in an Agile team environment including daily stand-ups and demos
- Collaborate with design and product teams to create development stories/tasks
- Collaborate with QA engineers to verify completeness of development stories/tasks
General Skills and Abilities – You are:
- Able to work collaboratively and positively with your teammates to achieve shared goals
- Willing to learn new skills and technologies
Digital/Technical Skills & Tools – You are:
- Basic skill level with application development in any programming language
- The ability to learn how to use the following tools:
- Development tools such as Android Studio and Gradle
- RESTful web services
- Kotlin
- Knowledge on using jetpack compose and AndroidX
Required skill level*
- Basic – e.g., I can do this in simple situations with close or extensive guidance
- Basic to Intermediate
- Intermediate – e.g., I can do this in most situations, with occasional guidance
- Intermediate to expert
- Expert – e.g., I can do this in exceptionally difficult situations with no guidance and I can be a key resource for others.
Education/Knowledge – You:
- Have a college diploma or bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field
- Have knowledge of “software design pattern”
- Have knowledge of object-oriented analysis and design, implementation and maintenance
- Familiar with mobile networking, client server architecture
Experience (Professional, Academic, Personal) – You:
- Nice to have (but not required);
- Have experience (professional, personal or academic) with Android development
- Have experience in a development role
