The Operations & Technology HR team at NBCUniversal is looking for a high-energy, results-driven and innovative HR Coordinator. The role is a perfect launch pad for someone interested in a career in HR providing experience in both generalist and specialist work.

We support the Operations and Technology business at NBCU with a rich history in Film & TV as well as industry-leading Engineering products and services.

In this role, you will be the central nervous system of our HR team supporting our diverse group of employees. You will also have exposure to HR projects that span: onboarding, rewards and recognition, performance feedback, talent attraction and development, and HR’s business impact.  In the day to day, you will help solve problems involving: Benefits, Payroll, Compensation, HR Operations, Talent Acquisition, Finance and Data Analytics.

Responsibilities:

  • Run as point person on all onboarding activities for new hires – from advertising the role through to their HR and benefits induction, all whilst making sure they have a great start to their new career.

  • Prepare relevant letters and documents for new and/or existing staff ensuring that all employee records are always kept up to date.

  • Organise, conduct and maintain data on leavers and exit interviews

  • Track and capture all visa and immigration related documentation

  • Serve as primary expert for all HR systems and transactions to keep our business running

  • Manage and audit our HR data to ensure our HR systems, reports, and org charts are always up to date, accurate, and consistent across multiple business units

  • Be the data analyst able to generate meaningful metrics and tell a story with data as needed, for a complex organization with several 100 people.

  • Process all monthly payroll changes for UK employees; including starters and leavers, and work closely with payroll to ensure they have up to date and accurate information

  • Assist in any program rollouts (i.e. performance review process, salary planning, benefits open enrolment, early careers programs, etc.)

  • Support Global Mobility in managing internal and external relocations, and remote working requests

  • Support Junior talent development; be the main point of contact for our intern population

  • Be the main point of contact for policy queries (e.g. family friendly policies, absence management), and escalate where necessary

  • Deliver a high-quality client service by offering solutions and effectively problem-solving questions or concerns raised by internal and external stakeholders

  • Act as the primary liaison with several HR departments, in order to manage and resolve day to day employee issues

  • Support wider HR project initiatives

  • Check and process invoices

What You Must Have:

  • A good working knowledge of HR practices and procedures preferably within a large organization

  • Experience of undertaking transactional HR or recruitment administrative work

  • Solid working knowledge of HR systems and ability to produce and analyse report

  • Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
