We’re just as passionate about helping our people get more out of life too; building careers with real growth, a sense of purpose, belonging and wellbeing.About the roleThe role of ESG Reporting Manager will be responsible for the accurate and complete reporting of all environmental, social, and governance matters for Very Ireland, and that we are also compliant with the reporting requirements of the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD).Key Responsibilities:

  • Understands and interprets relevant regulations on CSRD reporting requirements, keeping updated on the evolving landscape of ESG reporting, to ensure that Very remains aligned with the ESRS standards.
  • Leads the design and implementation of CSRD reporting requirements for Very Ireland, establishing the reporting practice and its evolution over time.
  • Gathers and analyses data related to ESG metrics and ensures the accuracy and completeness of data collected for reporting purpose.
  • Supports the annual audit of financial statements to ensure all required ESG metrics and information to ensure compliant robust and accurate reporting.
  • Monitors and analyses the impact of ESG reporting requirements, including gap analysis and reporting deliverables, and develop implementation plans for ESG reporting standards in cooperation with key stakeholders.
  • Inputs to the development and maintenance of auditable ESG data collection and control framework and in collecting, validating and consolidating ESG data for internal and external reporting.
  • Engages with internal and external stakeholders to steer CRSD-related workstreams across the business, ensuring smooth and effective collaboration.

About you

  • Proven experience in ESG (Environmental, Social, and Governance) reporting, sustainability, risk management, auditing, reporting or corporate governance.
  • Experience with regulatory compliance, particularly with the Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD) and other relevant ESG frameworks.
  • Proficiency in ESG reporting standards and frameworks, e.g. European Sustainability Reporting Standards (ESRS)
  • Excellent audit and report writing skills.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess and interpret ESG data and metrics
  • Strong project management skills to oversee the implementation of ESG reporting processes.
  • Ability to identify and mitigate ESG risks and develop strategies to enhance sustainability reporting performance.
