DESCRIPTIONThe Manager of Commercial Sales (ComSec) at Amazon Business will lead a team of Account Executives supporting Enterprise and Mid-Market Customers across Canada. The primary responsibilities of this manager will be to recruit, hire, coach and develop, and lead their team towards core business goals including OPS (Revenue), Growth Targets, New Account Acquisition, and Quality Launch Customers. The Manager will play a lead role in developing and executing on the go-to-market strategy for Customers in their respective vertical, and work cross functionally with partners (Marketing, Sales Ops, GTMO, Finance, ProServe, Learning & Enablement, Demand Generation, and Product Teams) to enable their team to partner successfully with Customers. The expectation is that the Manager is an active coach for their team, and participating in Customer Meetings (onsite and virtual), conducting opportunity and pipeline deep dives, and working with their team on territory and account reviews. Additional responsibilities will include preparing and presenting narratives (Docs), participating in regular business reviews (i.e WBR, QBR), and working with peers on the leadership team on various business initiatives. Ideal candidates will have relevant sales management experience including hiring and developing senior sales professionals, and have a proven track record of their team exceeding goals and KPI’s.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS– 6+ years of sales experience
– Experience managing teams
– Experience and understanding of the retail and wholesale landscape in India and exposure to prior interactions with sellers and distributors
– Experience analyzing data and best practices to assess performance drivers
– Experience planning, managing and closing competitive sales efforts and managing deals from negotiation, to closing and through delivery
– Experience proactively growing customer relationships within an account while expanding their understanding of the customer’s businessPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience influencing C-level executives
