Come help us deliver on our ambitious ESG and sustainability targets, by spearheading the Sustainability agenda across the EMEA region!Act as a Sustainability Partner for EMEA regionAs Commercial Sustainability Specialist for EMEA, you will become part of the Group Sustainability and ESG team and will have a central role as the go-to person for all commercial requests related to sustainability from the EMEA region.You will drive the ongoing dialogue with our EMEA customers on Sustainability and develop and execute an educational strategy implementing sustainability in customer dialogue and tenders. This way, you ensure that Nilfisk’s sustainability profile is leveraged in a commercial context. You will offer particular support to our strategic partner M2H in France, so proficiency in French is a requirement.You are joining Nilfisk at a time where Sustainability is blossoming into a key driver and qualifier for customers assessing their cleaning equipment, as well as who will supply it.   • Provide ongoing support to Nilfisk’s strategic partner M2H in relation to all Sustainability-related topics. Fluency in French and English is a prerequisite.
  • Support the alignment of sustainability activities in the EMEA region with group targets and strategy.
  • Provide technical sustainability support to the EMEA marketing and sales teams.
  • Develop educational strategy and training materials related to Sustainability.
  • Train local commercial teams in implementing Sustainability in their customer dialogues.
  • Respond to customer Sustainability requests and participate in sales meetings.
  • Optimize the collection of answers to Sustainability compliance questionnaires.
  • Feedback identified improvement areas to relevant stakeholders in coordination with global sustainability.

You will be an addition to a currently diverse team of passionate and ambitious sustainability specialists all located in our new head office in Copenhagen, Denmark. As this role supports EMEA, we imagine that you can be located in one of our EMEA offices:

  • Copenhagen or Hadsund, Denmark
  • Paris, France
  • Zocca, Italy
  • Bellenberg, Germany
  • Mataro, Spain

Your location is not so important, but since your role will be to represent and spearhead the agenda across the EMEA region and due to time zones, Europe is preferred. In this respect, a certain travel activity is also to be expected. The Sustainability team works closely together with a broad range of stakeholders in both the head office and across the markets and value supporting each other and having an informal work style.Make an impact on the ESG agenda for NilfiskYou will become part of a global and dynamic Marketing organization. The team reports to the executive leadership team and quarterly to the audit committee of the board of directors, so the right candidate will be given a chance to really influence and leave your mark on the ESG agenda for Nilfisk. You will play a pivotal role in bringing the business together on the journey towards achieving our ambitious sustainability targets. As you will be the subject matter expert of Sustainability in EMEA, we expect you to have a certain knowledge of product sustainability, sustainability reporting, and some insights into the legal requirements in selected European countries. It will also be an advantage if you have experience working with Corporate Communication, Sales or Marketing, but this is not a requirement.We do however expect that you are fluent in French and English, and have great communication skills. As the ESG agenda is a complex area that is constantly evolving, we also expect an interest in keeping up to speed with recent regulatory developments, such as Green Claims Act.Can’t resist the opportunity?
