We are also a leading supplier of uranium refining, conversion, and fuel manufacturing services from our operations in Ontario.The RoleThe technical services department is looking for a sr. administrator to support the construction management team (CMT). Reporting into the manager, project services, this role will provide functional support to the construction management office (CMO) manager and oversee the decentralized CMT administrative team to ensure smooth operations. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills with experience in construction or related industries.In this role, you will:
- Supervise and mentor a decentralized team of CMT administrators, including training and onboarding of new staff.
- Ensure a consistent and standardized level of service for the construction management teams.
- Coordinate and support hiring and onboarding of construction management team members.
- Organize meetings, provide calendar support and ensure deadlines are met.
- Assist with budget preparation and reconciliation.
- Support adoption of new processes and digital tools.
- Maintain electronic file management systems.
- Handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Be a self-starter, with the ability to anticipate needs and prioritize workload autonomously
Required:
- Business or administrative diploma
- 10 or more years of relevant industry experience
- Equivalent combination of education and work experience considered
- Proven experience as an administrator with a passion for developing and supporting people
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interact with a diverse team
- Proficient in office software including Microsoft Office Suite and Sharepoint
- Ability to travel as needed to northern Saskatchewan minesites/Ontario locations by aircraft
Recommended:
- Construction site experience and familiarity with terminology and processes
- Experience with SAP, Nomadis (Compass), BlueBeam (digital mark ups) an asset
