As a Maintenance Technician, you’ll work to ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of the building, grounds, and equipment, performing a variety of repair and maintenance tasks.

Maintenance Technician Job Duties:
- Monitor building and grounds to ensure a neat, clean presentation, performing general cleaning and maintenance activities for the building, grounds, equipment, and fixtures.
- Responsible for the cleanliness of the dock and dock door maintenance activities.
- Report the need for any major repairs and any security violations to management.
- Perform minor repairs for electrical, plumbing, HVAC, swamp coolers, and carpentry needs, and perform painting tasks as needed. This includes equipment setup and repairs for forklifts, tuggers, and scissor lifts.
- Move furniture and receive deliveries of equipment, stock, etc.
- Operate general power tools and equipment needed to maintain the facility.
- Perform electrical and mechanical preventative maintenance throughout the facility.
- Coordinate ongoing and annual permits and inspections (emissions, fire, sprinkler, etc.) and fire drills.
- Serve as a point of contact to coordinate the work of third-party vendors, including a professional cleaning service and the landlord.
- Responsible for scrap recycling, waste stream, and hazardous waste activities.
- Maintain equipment manuals and lead on safety inspections.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Maintenance Technician Requirements:
- At least 2+ years of recent maintenance experience
- Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry, and mechanical systems
- Ability to operate general power tools and maintenance equipment
- Ability to perform preventative maintenance and minor repairs
- Ability to lift and move heavy equipment and supplies
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Pay: $23-$30/hr DOE
