We are seeking a Commercial Account Executive to join our client’s team located outside of Albany, NY and drive sales of technical services, solutions, and products in a designated market. This role offers the opportunity to work with local engineers, architects, and industry experts to deliver exceptional value to customers.As a Commercial Account Executive, you will play a critical role in connecting client business objectives with innovative technical capabilities. Your ability to listen, learn, and understand broad technical solutions will be key to creating lasting partnerships with C-level executives and decision-makers.Responsibilities of the Commercial Account Executive will include:
- Align technical capabilities and service offerings with client business and technology goals.
- Oversee one or more accounts within a specific territory, acting as a trusted advisor to customers and partners.
- Work cross-functionally with technical teams to develop and deliver impactful business solutions.
- Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies.
- Lead teams of inside sales professionals, technology specialists, and consultants in driving sales campaigns from discovery to close.
- Establish and maintain relationships with C-level executives and other key stakeholders.
- Manage sales opportunities and provide accurate forecasting.
Job RequirementsQualifications of the Commercial Account Executive:
- 7+ years of Account Management experience in a relevant industry, working with large commercial or enterprise customers.
- 5+ years of experience managing or leading a sales book of business.
- Strong technical aptitude with the ability to position solutions effectively at a technical level.
- Proven track record of successful solution selling and problem-solving in customer-facing roles.
- Exceptional communication skills, including written, verbal, and presentation abilities.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently to meet client needs.
