Job Description

We are seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Specialist with over 10 years of experience to oversee and manage our company’s IT infrastructure in APAC region. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in network management, server management, and IT security, along with proven project management skills. The candidate will be responsible for ensuring the stability, integrity, and efficient operation of the IT infrastructure that supports our organization’s critical operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Strategic Planning: Develop and implement the APAC IT infrastructure strategy to align with the organization’s global goals and objectives.
• Network Management: Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the organization’s networking environment, including LAN/WAN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Server Management: Manage the installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Cloud Services: Oversee the integration and management of cloud-based services, ensuring seamless operation and security.
• Security Management: Implement and enforce IT Infrastructure security policies, procedures, and technologies to protect the organization’s data and systems from threats.
• Disaster Recovery: Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans to ensure critical systems and data are protected and can be recovered in the event of an outage or disaster.
• Vendor Management: Manage relationships with third-party vendors, ensuring that services are delivered as per the contract and within budget.
• Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT infrastructure budget, ensuring cost-effective use of resources.
• Compliance: Ensure that IT infrastructure and operations comply with industry standards and regulatory requirements.
• Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement improvements to infrastructure processes, tools, and systems to enhance efficiency and effectiveness

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT infrastructure management or a related role in a multi-national organization.
• Extensive experience with network and server management, including LAN/WAN, VPN, firewalls, routers, and switches.
• Strong knowledge and extensive experience of cloud computing platforms (e.g., Azure, AWS) and experience with cloud integration.
• In-depth understanding of IT security principles, practices, and technologies.
• Proven experience in disaster recovery planning and execution.
• Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent team management skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal in English is a must.
• Open to travel domestically and internationally.

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, CISSP, or ITIL.
• Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
• Strong technical knowledge in AV equipment is a plus.
• Experience in managing IT infrastructure in a global or multi-site environment
• Knowledge of PowerShell and other scripting tools is a plus.
