Executive Director

JCS, a consortium of Christian agencies working together as an INGO to serve the nation and people of Mongolia, is looking for an Executive Director to lead the organisation. Based in Ulaanbaatar and working alongside local and foreign partners, JCS implements relief and development projects for the wholistic transformation of the whole person and society.

Starting 1st July 2025

The Executive Director must be a mature Christian who can provide spiritual leadership for the organization and has skills in administration and cross-cultural experience. The new Executive Director should be able to relate to and work with people from a diversity of backgrounds (the JCS expatriate staff includes people from 14 countries).

As a leader and administrator, the Executive Director, alongside the Leadership Team, not only oversees and facilitates the operations of the organization but should have the ability to see the big picture, give strategic guidance and implement vision. The JCS ED is normally elected for a 4-year term.

to achieve their full, God-given potential through development, relief, and encouraging the planting, growth, development and unity of indigenous churches. “We are liked-minded mission agencies from all continents, – a model of Christian unity in diversity.

Our strategies have been focused intentionally on working alongside Mongolians to empower them to know God’s will and see it accomplished in their lives and in their nation. Our in-country registration is as a relief and development organization. We do this by implementing projects and placing professional volunteers with our strategic partners.

We want a new Executive Director to be sensitive to good ways of supporting Mongolians and the national organizations they lead. This would also include seeing more Mongolian involvement in JCS leadership and strategic development.
