Sleek launched in 2017 and now has around 15,000 customers across our offices in Singapore, Hong Kong, Australia and the UK. We have around 450 staff with an intact startup mindset.We are looking for a Tax Senior that is excited about the below Mission and Outcomes over the next 6-12 months.Mission: Join our small, close-knit tax team as Tax Senior, supporting the Tax Manager with key tasks like UK R&D tax relief and UK self-assessment tax returns. We need someone confident in writing detailed reports in English and who can quickly learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment. If you’re ATT qualified or studying ACCA/CTA, and thrive in a collaborative setting, this role is a great opportunity to grow your skills and make an impact.Outcomes: * Preparation and submission of UK R&D Tax Relief claims, including reports and financials, ensuring timely and accurate filings that meet client expectations and regulatory standards at CIRD81900.
- Preparation and submission of UK self assessment tax returns, ensuring all submissions are completed efficiently and clients receive high-quality service.
- Support a diverse portfolio of clients, delivering tailored tax advice, addressing queries, and ensuring strong client relationships through proactive communication and support
- Assist clients with accessing the Enterprise Investment Scheme (EIS) and the Seed Enterprise Investment Scheme (SEIS), preparing and submitting related documents to HMRC, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations
- Continuously develop tax-related knowledge and skills, quickly absorbing new information and applying it effectively to deliver results without needing repeated guidance
Requirements:
- Experience with UK R&D Tax Relief report writing is preferred, although not essential.
- Good experience with UK self-assessment tax returns is required.
