Working at our iconic office in King’s Cross, London, and virtually via Microsoft TeamsYour new role at NewDayYou’ll craft and lead NewDay’s communications strategy, cultivating a connected culture throughout the organization where everyone feels valued, included, informed, and engaged.You’ll partner with leaders at all levels of the organisation to ensure that communications arerelevant and impactful, aligned to NewDay’s strategy and Purpose, with our Values central to all we do.You’ll drive the development and promotion of our inclusion and diversity strategy, spearheading initiatives that foster a sense of belonging and contribute to our diversity objectives.You’ll report directly to the Group Chief People Officer.In this role, you’ll have a direct report to support you and will work closely with an established People Leadership Team.You’ll deliverCreate an effective communications plan across all channels to drive a change in our communications and storytelling so that colleagues feel connected to our longer-term vision and short/medium term developmentsOwn our key channels:corporate and careers websiteour internal digital workplace, “the Circle” and,our LinkedIn pagesWork with our business verticals to create a communications plan that engages their teams directlyLead, run and support on company-wide eventsCreate an inclusion and diversity strategy to ensure all colleagues feel included, and to move us closer towards our organisational goalsLead the company inclusion networkEmbed our “Be Brilliant” EVP, both internally and externally, supporting diverse talent attraction and motivating our talented colleagues to stay and thrive at NewDayLive our Values and make them visible to others through our initiativesWhat you’ll bringWe need knowledge, experience + expertise in:Leading and delivering an internal communications strategy with the ability to provide direction and influence at the executive level, including working directly with the Group CEO.Capability to write excellent contemporaneous relevant content and driving through multiple channels for example through our intranet ‘The Circle’ and internal reporting of our financial results.An understanding of the creative process with the ability to drive exciting new content in video and digital format which reflects the NewDay brand, internally and externally through linked in and our corporate website.Driving and implementing inclusion & diversity initiatives aligned with company goals, with an understanding of the barriers individuals face and an innate drive to overcome these barriersAnalytical skills to be able to translate data and trends into strategy and actionable plans.And would love you to know or learn:Financial Services/regulated sector experienceKnowledge of creative/design toolsWhere next?
