An established community market operated by a local non-profit is looking to add a Community Market Assistant to provide customer service and operational support on an ongoing temporary basis. In this role, you’ll be assisting market customers, getting volunteers set up to assist, and breaking down and stocking food donations. This is an excellent opportunity to give back to your community in a meaningful and positive way! You’re a good fit for this role if you have a knack for leadership and enjoy working with diverse groups of people.

Responsibilities:
- Providing customer service to guests
- Coordinating volunteers
- Receiving and stocking food donations
- Other projects as assigned
Community Market Assistant
Requirements:
- 1+ years customer service experience
- Ability to stand up to 8 hours, lift 50lbs repeatedly
- Experience working with vulnerable populations
- Minimal leadership experience preferred
Schedule
:
- Monday 10:00AM-7:30PM
- Tuesday 8:00AM – 4:00PM
- Wednesday 7:00AM – 4:30PM
- Thursday 8:00AM-4:00PM
- Friday 7:00AM-2:30PM
Location:
- Seattle, WA (SODO Area)
Pay:
- $22.80 per hour
