After you join the team, we will continue the process of moving you into new roles based on your talents, growth, and interests.The Role:The Team Lead, Project Management supports the growth and development of the Project Management team through leadership, coaching, and teamwork.This position is based out of our Milton office. 50% of your time will be spent in the office and 50% of your time will be spent traveling to customer sites throughout North America as part of the pre-installation and installation team.This is not a remote work opportunity.Job Responsibilities:
- Review and approve Project Management completion incentives
- Review and approve Project Management corporate credit card expenses
- Ensure Project Management team is following established processes and procedures as it relates to managing installs
- Provide guidance, instruction, and corrective feedback as required to the Project Management team
- Ability to lead the project team to success by providing clear direction, motivation, and support
- Identify project goals, objectives, and scope
- Create a project plan, outlining tasks and timelines for completion
- Identify potential risks and take measures to mitigate them before they can negatively impact the project
- Identify and solve problems that may arise during a project
- Communicate with project team, including internal and external stakeholders
- Manage relationships between the project team, internal and external stakeholders
- Monitor progress of assigned projects and ensure that the project remains on schedule
- Frequently travel to customer sites for Discovery, Install, and Follow-up visits
- Support the Director of Project Management with any and all tasks as may be required
Qualifications:
- Minimum of two PBS Certifications
- Must have a good understanding of all aspects of project management processes and workflows
- Ability to provide constructive criticism and feedback to support ongoing training and development, as required
- Ability to effectively communicate and to convey expectations and project information to the project team, internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks, timelines, and resources simultaneously
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively to ensure deadlines are met
- Must be adaptable and adjust plans and strategies to keep projects on track
- Must be able to work collaboratively with the project team to achieve goals
- Ability to travel within Canada and the USA a minimum of 2 weeks per month; in consequence a valid passport and/or US visa (if applicable), and valid full class driver’s license are required
- Ability to work weekends and holidays, as needed
- Ability to work non-standard hours, as needed
