This structure enhances connectivity and allows for faster delivery as all resources work together on dedicated tasks.About the role:This position serves as a Software Engineering lead for a specific team of Software Engineers. • Working closely with other Development team members to understand product requirements and translate them into software designs
• Implementing development processes, coding best practices, and code reviews
• Operating in various development environments (Agile, Waterfall, etc.) while collaborating with key stakeholders
• Completing complex bug fixes, resolving technical issues, and working with complex data models
• Managing your team, including interviewing, hiring, planning, assigning and directing work, appraising performance, and giving appropriate feedback
• Providing accurate effort and cost estimates for deliverables
• Encouraging new ideas from staff to foster improvements through innovations and empowering them to be accountable
• Seeking diverse ideas and perspectives from a variety of sources to create better solutions, products and services

Requirements

• Have excellent communication skills and the ability to convey information clearly to a wide audience
• Have the ability to partner with and lead internal and external technology resources to solve business needs
• Have good knowledge of test-driven development/BDD testing Framworks Junit, Selenium, Cucumber/Gherkin and industry best practices
• Effective monitoring, alerting and visualisation (Kibana, Elasticsearch)
• Have an excellent understanding of data modeling principles, data manipulation languages, and storage systems
• Be an expert in development languages Java, Spring Boot, AWS, Kafka/SQS and Microservices.
• Show an aptitude for achieving business objectives through managing others
• Be able to demonstrate excellent organizational skills when dealing with multiple priorities, and be able to think analytically
• Be a natural problem solver and able to take a lead in collaborating to resolve issues
