If you want a career that makes a difference in the lives of more than 1 million Oregonians, we invite you to apply today!Summary of DutiesAs a ONE Rights & Accessibility Senior Business Analyst, you will:Provides collaboration and strategic planning with State, Agency, Program and other related business and IT organizations regarding governance, priority and resource management of IT projects and enhancement, as related to State and ODHS Business Information ServicesProvides vendor, contract and budgetary oversight, as directed, for some Enterprise IT projects and operations and maintenance solutions, as defined.Design and application of Enterprise level business analytic and testing service standards and practicesProvides centralized Business Analytic support to Enterprise level IT projects and enhancementsProvides centralized Business Analysis and User Acceptance Testing services for the Oregon Eligibility systemProvides a scalable central BA and UAT model for other IT solutions, as definedCollaborates with all other agency Business Support Units (BSUs), Business Information Service units (BISs) and other to promote best practices, process improvement and increased program integrity across all Business Analytic services bridge the gap between IT solutions and business need.Assist ODHS program policy-makers maximize strategic use of technology, while defining clarity and precision in our business solutions. Rigorous Business Analytics and system testing improve our projects, systems and increase program integrity across our Enterprise.Minimum QualificationsA bachelor’s degree in business or public administration, behavioral or social sciences, finance, political science or any degree demonstrating the capacity for the knowledge and skills; and four years professional-level evaluative, analytical and planning work.

Any combination of experience and education equivalent to seven years of experience that typically supports the knowledge and skills for the classification.Essential AttributesWe are looking for candidates with:Experience with IT systems and procedures, related to Oregon DHS programs, eligibilities, and services.Knowledge of Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) or other comparable accepted industry standards of Business Analysis.Skilled in communication strategy and planning and the ability to communicate detailed information to a diverse audience.Excellent problem-solving skills, ability innovate and find creative solutions.Skilled in managing multiple tasks and project through changing priorities.Knowledge of statistical analysis methods and tools as well as project initiative governance.Attention all candidates! Employee’s work is conducted in offices and other program/partner sites which may include travel.Expected to perform in a high-pressure environment resulting from high volume workload and difficult timelines.Priority and scope of projects must be intensely monitored, and frequent adjustments are required.Background Checks and RequirementsIf selected as a finalist, we will conduct a criminal history and background check.
