Our client is revolutionising the mortgage industry with cutting-edge SaaS solutions to simplify and streamline mortgage processes. Due to expansion they’re seeking to hire a Sales Director to be based in either Guilford or Leeds where there is a hybrid working policy in place. The salary is up to £95,000 plus 40% bonus.You will oversee the firm’s sales strategy and take ownership of achieving revenue targets through intermediary channels. You will lead a high-performing business development team, build and maintain strong relationships with key intermediary firms and networks, and drive the successful execution of sales initiatives.As a fast-growing and forward-thinking company, our client offers exciting opportunities for ambitious professionals to make a significant impact.What is expected of the Sales Director?

  • Seeking out clients and building working relationships with the premier brokers
  • Building strategic relationships with targeted intermediary firms and networks
  • Leveraging those relationships to ensure business flow across customer segments and product lines as a ‘provider of choice’
  • Maintaining a market-leading presence in all industry (networking) events and exploiting that presence to commercial advantage.
  • Managing the broker panel of the firm
  • Ensuring high levels of customer service for all brokers and customers
  • Developing strategies to keep the firm competitive and innovative
  • Identifying valuable emerging markets
  • Serving as a business representative at major industry events, conferences and trade shows

What we look for in a Sales Director?

  • Strong ability to analyse evolving market dynamics and develop strategic sales and marketing plans in response
  • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with exceptional skills in prioritising and managing a dynamic and fast-paced workload
  • Outstanding negotiation, presentation, and communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Demonstrated expertise in building and maintaining effective partnerships with external stakeholders
  • Understanding of KPIs that drive the business and their impact on business outcomes, with the ability to analyse, interpret, and act on data to drive strategic improvements
  • Extensive experience in marketing and sales management within the intermediary industry, backed by a proven track record of driving success and achieving high-performance outcomes.

What the Sales Director will receive?

  • The base salary is broad as the CEO will pay for those bringing their own contacts. Depending on the size of your “little black book” the salary range is between £150,000 and £250,000.
  • OTE – They want to have an open discussion with you on the types of bonus schemes that will motivate you.
  • Travel expenses covered – Milage, Rail, hotels etc
