The Event Engagement Specialist (Formal job title: Project Manager, Audience Development) will be responsible for supporting the creation and management of events/project related information. You can expect to work on webpages, marketing materials, stakeholder engagement and internal communications, including overseeing all speaker scheduling and contracting, speaker logistics and permissions, coordinating with internal teams including finance, procurement, multi-media, marketing and program content staff.In this role you’ll:Collaborate with top-tier speakers and their teams to manage scheduling, logistics, and contracts for our events.Lead the coordination of promotional materials, ensuring accurate and compelling content across all channels.Work closely with internal teams—from marketing to finance—to deliver seamless project execution.Refine session abstracts, speaker notes, and presentations to ensure top-quality event content.Track and analyse event performance to refine and elevate future experiences.Bring fresh, innovative ideas to enhance attendee engagement and event impact.What We’re Looking For:Demonstrable B2B events background – previous experience working for an events company would be advantageousPrevious experience writing and copy proofing.Analytical abilities to measure event success and inform improvements.Exceptional organization and time management skills alongside great project management skills (project management qualifications/background is not required)Highly organised and ability to work to deadlinesOutstanding interpersonal and communication skills with a professional demeanour and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levelsProficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).What’s in It for You?A busy and varied role that allows you to connect with senior professionals and collaborate across multiple teams.Opportunities to innovate and shape experiences for our audience.A supportive environment where your ideas and contributions are valued.Travel opportunities (approximately 10% of the time) to bring events to life.Please note: the successful applicant will be required to work on some events that are hosted evenings and there will be an expectation to travel 3-5 times a year internationally.About CFA InstituteCFA Institute are the global leader in investment excellence and ethics.
