The team deals with a range of Occupier clients from large corporates including Barclays, Cisco, Allianz amongst others, to tenants with different needs such as gaming companies, Fintech start-ups and an array of other businesses.The successful candidate will join a dynamic team and be working alongside other internal departments such as Tenant Representation, Workplace Dynamics, Agency, Rating and Planningto provide holistic, commercial advice to our clients.We are looking for an outward-looking, ‘all-rounder’ Building Surveyor with a sense of ‘team spirit’ and an ambition to deliver excellence.What this job involvesThe workload will vary but generally includes running fit out projects alongside guiding tenants through their dilapidations liabilities and working closely with the wider business providing TDD advice to occupier clients.This includes:
- Undertaking Building Surveyor’s inspections and preparing reports
- Undertaking the role of Contract Administrator and Employer’s Agent on fit-out and refurbishment contracts
- Negotiating schedules of dilapidations/preparing exit strategies
- Assisting with co-ordination of portfolio instructions and undertaking other duties from time to time as may be reasonably required
- Making sustainable business links with both external and internal clients and offering a professional and excellent client service at all times
- Some travel will be required in this role

- Required to have the ability to work within a team and on own initiative
- Must be enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated
- Must have strong verbal and numerical skills, and be comfortable with report writing
- Requires excellent time management and general organisational skills
- Is required to be flexible and have the ability to work under pressure
- Must be well presented and have excellent communication skills
- Working towards MRICS (building surveying) with proven experience, preferably in a commercial consultancy
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Clean driving licence
