We thank you for your interest in our roles and would encourage you to review our vacancies which are open to all.The salary range for Team Managers is £36,765 – £39,670 per annum based on a 25 hour working week, pro-rata to £52,942 – £57,125.We are excited to be hiring a new part-time Team Manager to join our fantastic Children’s Academy based in Weybridge, starting on 1st April 2025. This role is open to hybrid working and as a team we split our time between working from home and collaborating together in the office.Our other rewards and benefits include:

About the RoleThis exciting new role has been created to support the increasing number of student Social Workers and internal Social Work Apprentices undertaking their training in Surrey Children’s Services.You will co-ordinate student Social Worker programmes, the social work degree apprenticeship scheme for CFLL staff, and manage a team of Practice Educators. Working closely with the other managers in the Academy, and liaising with the New and Developing Social Workers Manager for ASYE and Post-Qualifying Programmes, you will share learning and develop new ideas for Early Career Social Workers. In addition you will work with Universities, students and Onsite Supervisors in frontline teams.You will be encouraged to be innovative, put research into practice, and ensure that students are provided with great support, learning opportunities and high quality assessment from their Practice Educators and Onsite Supervisors.Shortlisting CriteriaTo be considered for shortlisting for this position, your CV and personal statement will clearly evidence:
- A Social Work qualification such as a Degree, Masters or Post Graduate Diploma in Social Work and Social Work England registration
- Experience of working in statutory social work roles with children, young people and their families
- A Practice Educator qualification
