1. Able to coordinate and understand the interaction between business metrics, UX interaction and adoption data, and the resilience and monitoring of our technical platform
2. Skilled at generating insights that support product managers, designers and software leaders in their quest to deliver products customers love
3. Create stories with data in QuickSight or related tools that recognize patterns and trends
4. Work with data from disparate systems and storage mechanisms including Adobe Analytics, KTAL, RUM, CloudWatch and Pendo
5. Advise on areas of opportunity in forums like monthly business reviews, quarterly planning and monthly team meetings
6. Interpret and advise on A/B testing data, using classical or Bayesian statistics
7. Familiarity with LLM-supported analytics tools and methodsA day in the life
As a Business Intelligence Engineer, you will generate insights that will guide operational excellence, business strategy, and success for our products focusing on Candidates across Recruiting. Data analysis is at the core Amazon’s culture, and your work will have a direct impact on decision making and strategy for our organization. You will be gathering customer insights, mining data, making recommendations, and helping senior leaders make key business decisions. You will have the opportunity to work with large and diverse data sets to gather insights using data from across AWS Infrastructure.About the team

– Experience with data visualization using Tableau, Quicksight, or similar tools
– Experience with data modeling, warehousing and building ETL pipelines
– Experience in Statistical Analysis packages such as R, SAS and Matlab
– Experience using SQL to pull data from a database or data warehouse and scripting experience (Python) to process data for modelingPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS– Experience with AWS solutions such as EC2, DynamoDB, S3, and Redshift
– Experience in data mining, ETL, etc. and using databases in a business environment with large-scale, complex datasets

The base pay for this position ranges from $89,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $185,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
