Ensuring the delivery of exceptional customer service to all John Lewis Customers through achieving or exceeding all relevant KPI’s.Job Description:At a glanceRole Title: Section Manager, Customer Delivery HubPosition: This is a Permanent PositionLocation: Hill BartonHours of Work: Full Time, 38 Hours. Working 5 days a week, PM shift 14:00 – 22:00 weekdays and 10:00 – 18:00 Saturdays.Salary: The expected starting rate for this role will £34,000, annual (based on experience)This role will attract a potential shift premium of 22.5% of base rate, this is an additional earning of £6,727.50 AnnuallyAbout the roleOur Section Manager will manage a team of Partners reporting directly to a site Operations manager.This is a great opportunity moving into the 2-Person Home Delivery Network. You will need to demonstrate flexibility in working hours in order to fulfil the customer proposition. This role has the duty manager.You will be required to be cross functional across all operational areas within the replace with Customer Delivery Hub including Warehouse and Administration Support and will be expected to act responsibly in line with Corporate Social Responsibility commitments and waste management for your department and site.The successful Section Manager will be responsible for:Ensuring operation adhere to all rules and regulations regarding legal complianceDelivering all operational KPIs in line with Partner, Customer, Profit and ensure compliance in line with all business wide metricsPrioritising workload in line with service level agreements to enable lead-times to be met for both internal and external customersPlanning operational resource (daily/weekly) with Partners and agencyDeveloping and maintaining relationships with operational teams to ensure communication channels remain effectiveMonitoring and analysing department KPIs to look for trends and opportunities to facilitate continuous improvement initiatives within the teamManaging Driver requirements such as fuel cards and vehicle keysEnsuring daily communication with Transport, Administration, Warehouse TeamManaging day to day running of the Transport office e.g. schedules, conference callsEssential skills you’ll needPrevious Management ExperienceLeadership skills (Ability to guide and encourage employees to achieve the Business Plans)Desirable skills you may haveWarehouse management experienceKnowledge of transport operations & legal complianceHome delivery experienceNext StepsThe application form consists of a CV upload followed by application questions.
