Colleagues will continue working remotely up to 1 day a week, while spending the other 4 days in the office (to be determined by each business unit).As an Assistant Product Developer, your main responsibility is to support the Product Developer in the overall product development process, and during product sensory reviews. Reporting to a Product Developer, the Assistant Product Developer will assist in preparing product presentations, reviewing technical product specs, and working with vendors to ensure proper data collection is completed and compliant to Loblaw Brands’ standard.Core Accountabilities:Collaborate with internal cross-functional teams and work with vendor base.Provide training and support to new and existing vendors with LBL systems and tools.Maintain accurate and up-to-date product spreadsheets, product specifications, vendor product specifications, and data.Track and organize all product documents for Product Developer sign-off.Shadow PD during vendor innovation session and plant trialAssist in preparing product presentations.Skills, knowledge, and education:Product Development or Quality Assurance knowledge and skill are critical.Able to review and understand raw material specification forms.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Strong communication and presentation skills.Ability to prioritize multiple projects to achieve productivity and business goals.Enjoys diversity and a dynamic, creative work environment.Loblaw recognizes Canada’s diversity as a source of national pride and strength.
