Sherwood Inn is Hiring! Reporting to Housekeeping Supervisor, you will be responsible for contributing to the resorts high level of standards for cleaning and maintaining guest rooms and common areas. Responsibilities: Working in a team, provide housekeeping services to guest rooms. Ensure standards of cleanliness as detailed by Management are exceeded in guest accommodation. Clean and maintain common areas and meeting space. Provide resolution to guest inquiries and/or complaints. Offer assistance to guests with respect to any housekeeping needs. May be required to assist with laundry and common areas due to business volumes. Qualifications & Skills Required: Excellent Interpersonal Skills Minimum of 1 year customer service experience, preferably in a resort or hotel setting Post-Secondary courses related to hospitality an asset Ability to work well under pressure and independently A self-starter and team player Able to lift heavy objects, minimum 50 lbs Ability to work with chemical cleaning products Able to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, weekends and holidays This is a seasonal position with a start date based around the resort’s opening date.
