  • Providing recommendations on recruitment/sourcing strategies.
  • Preparing exciting and inclusive job ads, reviewing and screening resumes, facilitating interviews, conducting reference checks, and extending offers of employment.
  • Coaching and supporting hiring managers through the recruitment process.
  • Opportunities to work on projects not only within Talent Acquisition, but across the entire Ministry.

This link will assist you with understanding competencies:QualificationsA two-year diploma in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related area plus one year of related experience; or equivalent as stated below:Equivalencies will be accepted on the basis of a university degree or a related one-year certificate from a recognized post-secondary institution and two years of related experience. Directly related education or experience will be considered on the basis of one year of education for one year of experience; or one year of experience for one year of education.Preference will be given to applicants with 3+ years of experience in talent acquisition or human resources.Assets include:

  • Experience with recruitment.
  • Experience in a customer service environment – client service is key!
  • Experience working in a fast paced environment.
  • Experience working in a consultative manner.
