Centre Assistant at Frontier Centre

Salary:  £22,883 per annum

Hours:  37.5 per week, Monday to Friday, with occasional evening and weekend work

Contract term: Permanent, subject to satisfactory references, an Enhanced DBS check and a 6-month probationary period.

We are looking to appoint a full-time Centre Assistant at our outdoor activity centre in Irthlingborough, Northamptonshire.

The successful applicant will be responsible for giving welcome talks to groups on arrival and will be the first point of contact during their stay.  Working under the direction of the Centre Team Supervisor they will help to ensure the comfort and safety of our guests, and that the centre is well presented. They will provide practical assistance in the preparation of buildings and facilities, and carry out physical tasks and routine checks around the centre. They will be included on the out of hours on-call rota (including weekends every 6 weeks). The role is physically active and applicants will need to have excellent verbal communication skills, practical and problem-solving skills, and hold a valid driving licence.

This role is subject to an Occupational Requirement (OR) that the successful applicant is a Christian who is committed to the values, beliefs and behaviours set out in our ethos statement.
