We have an exciting opportunity for a Construction Liability Adjuster based in the UK

The role:

Working as part of our successful Construction and Engineering team within the Commercial division, we are looking to hire a Construction Liability Adjuster . Whilst the team are based in London, this can be a home based/flexible role for the right individual.

This technical role involves investigating policy and legal liability, collating relevant information, identifying fraud risks, maintaining proactive contact with all parties, manage litigation where appropriate and ensure the accurate maintenance of databases and correspondence on a mixture of injury, disease and/or third party property damage claims on a cradle-to-grave basis.

Your clients will include some of the most prestigious construction, Blue Chip Corporate Clients and Brokers, it is therefore essential that you have experience within the claims arena.

The Skills You Will Have When You Apply:

  • Proactive Attitude : Self-motivated and capable of working on your own initiative.

  • Experience : EL/PL/injury and property claims, with the ability to investigate, manage, and settle your own portfolio of claims.

  • Insurance Qualifications : Desirable, but equal consideration will be given to those with relevant experience.

  • Legal Knowledge : Thorough understanding of current case law, statutes, and other legal liabilities.

  • Technical Skills : Accurate keyboard skills and good working knowledge of MS Word, Outlook, and Excel.

  • Stakeholder Interaction : Ability to interact with claims staff, underwriters, policyholders, brokers, and claimants.

  • Driving Licence : A current clean driving licence is essential.

  • Customer Service : Willingness to go the extra mile and provide exemplary customer service.

  • Organisational Skills : Extremely well-organised and capable of influencing others.
