This premier US and international law firm have an excellent new opportunity for an experienced Associate to join their busy and thriving Employment practice in London. Acting for a diverse range of clients, from leading private equity groups and their portfolio companies and start ups, to multinational public and private enterprises, their team’s work is broad-ranging, covering Employment law aspects of complex M&A transactions and reorganisations, both within the UK and cross-border (often coordinating and implementing international advice); advising on senior executive hiring and firing; drafting contracts and employment policies; drafting and enforcing post-termination restrictions; and all aspects of general Employment law advice. The team also represents employers in Employment grievances and disputes from prevention and mitigation, through investigations, negotiations and dispute resolution, while also working closely with their share incentives colleagues to advise on executive compensation and incentives. The firm are particularly seeking someone who has strong knowledge and experience practicing UK Employment law, including transactional work, excellent written communication and drafting skills, and the ability to demonstrate initiative. You’ll also need to have the necessary skills to take on a high degree of responsibility, be able to lead and provide senior expertise for transactional and advisory work, coordinate projects and supervise more junior colleagues.
