Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury is now offering an exciting and flexible temporary opportunity for an experienced delivery Van Driver for our client in Poole. For this role you will be responsible for the delivery of goods in the local area. 8-12 drops is the typical amount per day.Position: Van Driver (Category B)Days: Monday – Friday (flexible)Hours: 07:00-16:00Start date: ASAPLocation: BournemouthPay Rate: £12.82 (daytime) – £14.57 (weekends). Holiday Pay Advanced.The successful Van Driver will have:

• a valid UK Category B driving licence (max. 6 penalty points)
• experience in delivering using 3.5t vehicles
• good customer service skills
• physical fitness and familiarity with loading and unloading in a safe manner
• own reliable transport to travel to work

Responsibilities:

• maintain cleanliness and organisation of the vehicle
• follow delivery schedules and routes provided by the dispatcher
• provide excellent customer service during deliveries
• adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations
• load and unload goods from the van, ensuring accuracy and efficiency
• safely operate our client’s vans to deliver goods
