Job description
Driver Hire Bournemouth and Salisbury are looking for a reliable Warehouse Operative for our client in Bournemouth. You will play a crucial role in operations by ensuring the accurate and timely processing of incoming and outgoing shipments, maintaining inventory, and keeping the warehouse organised.Location: Bournemouth, DorsetHourly pay rate: £12.82-£14.57 (PAYE holiday pay advanced)Shift pattern: Mondays-Friday (Flexible)Start Time: 8amKey Responsibilities:
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment according to company standards and customer specifications.
- Inventory Management: Conduct regular inventory counts, maintain organised and labelled stock areas, and report discrepancies.
- Safety and Maintenance: Follow all safety procedures, operate equipment safely, and maintain a clean and organised work environment.
- Receive and Process Shipments: Unload incoming deliveries, verify contents against purchase orders, and ensure accurate stock levels.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
About You:
- Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Physical Ability: Ability to lift and perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Dependability: Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential.
- Team Player: Willingness to work as part of a team and contribute to a positive work atmosphere.
- Skills: Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and ability to follow instructions.
