The Growth Company’s (GC) Business Growth Hub (BGH) team has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Business Growth Advisor to lead a team of specialist advisors to deliver high-quality business growth advice and manage a portfolio of ambitious businesses aiming for growth through strategic planning, job creation, new products and services, increased GVA, business expansion, and exporting.GC Business Growth Hub is a community of specialists dedicated to helping businesses in Greater Manchester achieve their ambitions. Since 2011, the hub has supported over 15,000 businesses, providing finance guidance, international links, and fostering innovation and people development. We collaborate with top public and private partners to offer expert business support, events, specialist programs, funding, and more.Please note: The recruitment process will include a full-day assessment from 9am to 5pm during the week commencing 10th March.Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and support a team of 5 business advisors to deliver targeted growth services.
- Manage quality assurance, monitor performance, and report progress against targets.
- Stay updated with growth support developments to align services with business needs.
- Develop and deliver tools and resources to improve business productivity and competitiveness.
- Manage external and partner services to ensure effective business advice delivery.
- Handle client enquiries, assess growth potential, and establish key client relationships.
- Ensure compliance with project eligibility criteria and monitor service delivery.
- Collect and report output and impact data throughout and at the end of projects.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of businesses across various sectors, providing tailored support and guidance to help them achieve their growth objectives.
