It provides chilled, ambient, contract packaging, and bonded logistics services, as well as value-added services, such as online visibility and systems integration, pallet management, and supply chain management.Job DescriptionAs MHE Hire Manager you will ensure all MHE hire equipment is sourced, quoted, delivered and collected in a timely manner according to internal customer requirements whilst ensuring all legal aspects of the hire are in place.You will be overseeing short term rental requests for the business, liaising with suppliers and internal customers. Although you will be part of a wider team this is a standalone role. This role requires a lot of coordinating and the ability to prioritise requests, so you will need to be well organised whilst remaining customer focused.This is a brand new role within the business so there is scope to make the role your own and be involved in some exciting projects.Daily Duties:

  • Build important relationships with internal and external clients
  • Handling on and off hire requests efficiently.
  • Provide cost quotations to requestors
  • Setup of allocation of equipment, ensuring that all internal processes are followed.
  • Planning delivery and collection of Hire Equipment to end locations
  • Support in management of equipment and ensure that compliance to legislation/process is in place
  • Accurately raise hire Contracts ensuring the correct on Hire/Off Hire dates are input into Fleet Management System/database.
  • Ensure that any Contracts off hired prior to Month end are closed off and invoiced accordingly.
  • Compile and provide hire quotes for Depots/clients in a timely manner
  • Ensure that internal customers are informed of Delivery/Collection Status on daily basis.
  • Prioritising workload and managing administrative tasks.
  • Resolving internal customer queries and complaints
  • Manage a fast paced and busy hire desk
  • You will be hiring, de-hiring and sourcing equipment from third party suppliers
  • Liaise with colleagues, other depots, and procurement teams to ensure that equipment is successfully delivered at designated dates/times.
  • Ongoing development of product knowledge to fulfil all requests without delay
  • Maintain accurate records of plant hire activities, including, equipment specifications, and hire agreements.
  • Continuously identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends and regulations and ensure that all equipment hire activities are carried out in compliance with health and safety regulations

Qualifications

  • Good level of numeracy and literacy.
  • Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy with a keen eye for detail.
  • Commitment and motivated, with sound problem solving skills to drive improvement in performance.
  • Able to use own initiative.
  • Good interpersonal skills and capable of operating as part of a team.
  • Ability to work with limited supervision within fixed guidelines.
  • Confident in dealing with people at all levels.
