The General Manager for J&J Vision Care UK & Ireland will play a vital role in the Johnson & Johnson Vision business in the EMEA region. As the General Manager (GM) for J&J Vision Care UK & Ireland, you will report directly to the Managing Director for Western & Northern Europe, and you will lead, shape, and implement the growth plan for the ACUVUE® contact lenses portfolio.
As the GM, you will have complete profit and loss (P&L) responsibility for the markets and direct oversight of the sales and marketing organizations. While working in collaboration with functional teams such as Finance, Deliver and Customer Service, you will be responsible for implementing business plans and ensuring successful professional and commercial execution throughout the local market organizations.
Key Responsibilities :

Build the strategic direction and ensuring all business objectives are met.

Ensure the organizational ability to implement the business plans from a process, people and infrastructure standpoint.

Full P&L responsibility for the business. Lead top and bottom-line targets in close collaboration with finance lead.

Develop and craft positive relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, health care professionals and key opinions leaders.

Build strong customer relationships with Key Accounts by driving joint business plans.
-
Lead commercial teams in the strategic development and execution of the commercial and marketing plans with strong focus on sales force effectiveness and Key Account management.

Shape and define medium/long term plans to grow ACUCUE® portfolio and unlock category potential in UK & Ireland.

Partner and collaborate with regional teams and functions to shape short/med term plans for EMEA. Represent the local perspective in regional discussions and play a lead role in regional projects/initiatives.

Build and develop the Leadership Team pipeline, establishing a plan for continuous people development. Empower and develop a large high-performance team.

Implement effective systems and processes to improve operational efficiency and productivity.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree; MBA in business and/or economics related fields

10+ years of Sales and d Marketing Management in relevant industries

General Management experience or Business Management (BU) experience

Strong P&L management experience

Experience in Key Account and strategic customer management

Track record of delivering sales results

Success in leading a large, multi-layered organization and in developing future leaders

Strength in managing diverse cross-functional stakeholders

Ability to deal with ambiguity and manage complexity

Fluent in English
Work location: J&J office in Workingham, UK
Travel: 30-40% domestic & international
